PT-141 (bremelanotide) is a cyclic heptapeptide melanocortin receptor agonist related to α-MSH (Ac-Nle-cyclo[Asp-His-D-Phe-Arg-Trp-Lys]-OH). It differs from Melanotan II by a free-acid C-terminus.
