By accessing or using the AKRO Research website (akroresearch.com) and purchasing our products, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service, our Compliance Policy, and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree to all of these terms, do not use our services.

AKRO Research reserves the right to update these Terms at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the website following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

All products sold by AKRO Research are for in-vitro research, laboratory, and educational purposes only. Products are NOT intended for human or veterinary use, food additives, drug use, household use, clinical application, diagnostic use, or cosmetic use of any kind.

AKRO Research makes full disclosure of the research-use-only nature of all products and takes all reasonable steps to remain compliant with applicable regulations. AKRO Research cannot, however, be held responsible for the actions, decisions, or conduct of purchasers, recipients, or any third parties once products have been sold and delivered. Purchasers bear sole responsibility for ensuring their use of products complies with all applicable local, state, federal, and international laws.

Available lot-specific Certificates of Analysis (COA) are linked from applicable product pages where published. By purchasing, you confirm that you understand and agree to these restrictions. Please refer to our Compliance Page for the research-use policy and documentation limits.

Access to this website and the ability to purchase products from AKRO Research is restricted to individuals who meet all of the following criteria:

• Are 21 years of age or older
• Are a qualified research professional, accredited research institution, licensed laboratory, or acting in a documented independent research capacity
• Reside in a jurisdiction where receipt and possession of research compounds is lawful
• Intend to use all products strictly for in-vitro, non-clinical research purposes only

By placing an order, you represent and warrant that you meet all of the above qualifications. Misrepresentation of research intent or purchaser status may result in immediate order cancellation and may be reported to relevant regulatory authorities.

Product availability, variants, and pricing are subject to change without notice. Where a lot has a published Certificate of Analysis, the original document is the source for that identified lot. AKRO Research does not warrant that general website content is complete, current, or applicable to another lot.

This storefront does not provide a preparation, storage, or use protocol. Purchasers are responsible for following applicable lot documentation and their organization’s validated procedures.

All prices are listed in USD unless otherwise noted. Prices displayed represent the amount per unit for the selected variant and quantity.

Discount codes and promotional coupons are applied at checkout using a cascading (sequential) method: each coupon is applied to the running total after prior coupons have been applied, not to the original subtotal. Coupons assigned to a specific customer account may only be used by that account. Single-use coupons are invalidated after first redemption.

Bundle & Save: qualifying vials in one cart, across all products, earn a cart-wide discount of 10% at 3+ vials, 15% at 6+ vials, 18% at 9+ vials, 20% at 12+ vials. Only research vials count toward a tier. Discounts and Bundle & Save don’t apply to Reconstitution Solution (BAC Water): coupon codes, sitewide deals, the welcome offer, referral codes, points, rewards tiers and Buy One Get One never reduce its price. Subscribe & Save 5% does. Product pages show a preview that includes the current selection and qualifying vials already in your cart. An ordinary coupon code replaces Bundle & Save — checkout applies whichever saves more, never both. A code that stacks with Bundle & Save is applied to the running total, using the cascading method described above. Confirmed at checkout from verified catalog data.

Payment is processed securely through our payment processors. AKRO Research does not store full payment card details on its servers.

New subscription enrollment is available only when the storefront displays a subscription option for the selected product. Availability, eligible items, delivery cadence, and the applicable price are confirmed at checkout; the storefront does not represent that a subscription is available when enrollment is disabled.

• Eligibility and price: The server verifies catalog eligibility and the final price before an enrollment or renewal. New Reconstitution Solution (BAC Water) subscriptions receive the subscription saving; existing Reconstitution Solution subscriptions keep their stored terms. It does count toward the $150 free-shipping threshold.
• Existing subscriptions: A subscriber can review the schedule and available account controls for an existing subscription from the account area. The terms stored with that subscription govern its future cycles.
• Savings: When a subscription option is offered, eligible subscription orders and renewals save 5% after verified catalog and volume pricing.
• No commitment: Cancel any time · Manage from your account.
• Billing and changes: Any billing authorization, schedule, cancellation, or pause takes effect only as confirmed by the service. Completed charges and their fulfillment status are handled under the applicable order and refund terms.

Registered customers may earn points on qualifying purchases and redeem points for store credit when the account and checkout show that option.

• Current program details: Earn rates, tiers, qualification thresholds, discounts, and the redemption value are shown in the rewards area of your account. Do not rely on a historical rate or tier description.
• Earning and qualification: The server calculates eligible points and tier status from the settled order and account record; any displayed estimate is not a final award.
• Redemption: Points may be redeemed only through an authenticated account and a server-verified checkout promotion. Points have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for currency.
• Program changes: Program availability and terms may change. Any confirmed balance, redemption, or order remains subject to the records and terms applicable at that time.

The AKRO Affiliate Program enables approved affiliates to earn commissions on purchases made through their unique referral links.

• Commission: Affiliates earn a cash or store-credit commission on qualifying referred purchases. Commission rates vary by affiliate tier (Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum).
• Tax documentation: U.S.-based affiliates must submit a completed W-9 form. Non-U.S. affiliates must submit a W-8BEN form. Conversions of earned commissions to cash payouts are not processed until tax documentation is complete and verified.
• Buyer privacy: AKRO Research does not disclose buyer personally identifiable information (PII) to affiliates. Affiliates may view anonymized invoice IDs and aggregate commission data only.
• Referral links: Each affiliate receives a unique referral code and link. Abuse of referral links (self-referrals, fraudulent signups) may result in immediate program termination and forfeiture of unpaid commissions.
• AKRO Research reserves the right to approve, suspend, or terminate affiliate accounts at its sole discretion.

The AKRO Wholesale Program is available to qualifying research institutions, laboratories, and bulk purchasers.

• Wholesale tier discounts apply automatically at checkout once your account has been approved and the tier threshold is met.
• Wholesale accounts may also participate in the referral sub-program, earning points for referring other qualifying wholesale buyers.
• Wholesale pricing does not apply to products already marked as on sale or subject to active promotional pricing.
• Wholesale status is subject to periodic review. AKRO Research reserves the right to adjust tier thresholds and discount structures at any time.

The storefront currently supports orders shipping within the United States; delivery is only to addresses within the United States. Buyers are responsible for ensuring that receipt and possession comply with all laws in their jurisdiction. Available shipping methods, rates, and delivery estimates are confirmed at checkout.

• Free standard shipping: U.S. orders of $150 or more after discounts (coupons, Buy One Get One and points) qualify for free standard (3-Day) shipping. Faster shipping methods are always charged.
• Same-day cutoff: Orders placed by 3:00 PM Pacific Time, Monday through Saturday, excluding carrier holidays and announced closures, ship the same day. Orders placed after the cutoff, on Sunday, or on a carrier holiday or announced closure ship on the next ship day. Delivery dates shown on product pages are estimates.
• Shipment protection: Every order includes shipment protection. Lost, stolen or damaged? We replace it, on us. Claims follow the process in Section 11.
• International shipping is not currently available through the storefront.
• Florida orders: For orders shipped to a Florida address, all sales are made F.O.B. origin under a shipment contract, which means title to and risk of loss for the items pass to you when we deliver your order to the carrier at our shipping location. Shipment protection is a free courtesy we provide for your benefit. It does not change when title and risk of loss pass to you.

All sales are final. Due to the nature of research-use-only biochemical compounds, AKRO Research does not accept returns or issue refunds based on buyer preference, change of mind, or misuse of products.

Shipping issue claims are accepted only under the following circumstances:

• Return to Sender — Package was undeliverable and returned to AKRO Research through no fault of the buyer.
• Transit Damage — Product arrived physically damaged (e.g. broken vial). Photo evidence is required.
• Wrong Item Shipped — A fulfillment error resulted in the buyer receiving an incorrect product.
• Lost or Stolen in Transit — The carrier lost the package, or it was stolen after the carrier marked it delivered.

Under shipment protection (Section 10), an approved claim for a lost, stolen or damaged shipment is resolved by replacing the affected items at no cost to the buyer.

Except as provided under shipment protection, where a valid claim is approved, AKRO Research will make every effort to resolve the issue. Resolution may take the form of a store credit, re-shipment of the correct item, or — at AKRO Research’s sole discretion — a refund. AKRO Research reserves the right to determine the appropriate resolution in each case.

Claims for damaged, defective or incorrect items must be submitted within 48 hours of the confirmed delivery date with photographic evidence and the order number. Those claims submitted after this window will not be accepted.

For a package lost or stolen in transit, contact support with the order number. The claim is checked against the carrier’s tracking record, and an approved shipment-protection claim is replaced at no cost to the buyer.

Sales tax is calculated at checkout based on the delivery address and applicable jurisdiction rates. Shipping is shown as its own charge and is taxed only where the destination state’s law requires it. The checkout total is the source for the tax amount associated with an order.

Account features — including saved addresses, order history, rewards balances, and subscription preferences — require a registered account or a browser-session identifier. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

AKRO Research collects only the data necessary to process orders and provide account features. Customer PII is never disclosed to affiliates or third parties for marketing purposes without explicit consent. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.

AKRO Research shall not be liable for any damages arising from the use or inability to use our products, including but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Use of products is at the purchaser’s own risk.

AKRO Research makes no representations or warranties regarding the fitness, safety, or suitability of any product for any particular purpose, including research applications. All products are sold strictly as research reference materials.

AKRO Research is not responsible for, and expressly disclaims all liability arising from, the actions, decisions, or conduct of any purchaser, end user, third party, or outside actor in connection with the purchase, possession, handling, or use of any product sold by AKRO Research. AKRO Research operates in good faith and in compliance with applicable regulations governing the sale of research-use-only compounds. Compliance with those regulations beyond the point of sale is the sole responsibility of the purchaser.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which AKRO Research is incorporated, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that jurisdiction.
