Lyophilized powder — reconstitution with bacteriostatic water or a suitable solvent is required prior to in-vitro experimental use. BAC Water is available separately in our Solvents category.
Epithalon (Epitalon) is a synthetic tetrapeptide (Ala-Glu-Asp-Gly) derived from the pineal gland peptide Epithalamin. It is studied for its proposed role in telomere elongation12, regulation of the cell cycle, and modulation of the neuroendocrine system3. Research has explored its influence on melatonin secretion3 and telomerase activity in in-vitro and animal models2.
