Epithalon (Epitalon) is a synthetic tetrapeptide (Ala-Glu-Asp-Gly) derived from the pineal gland peptide Epithalamin. It is studied for its proposed role in telomere elongation12, regulation of the cell cycle, and modulation of the neuroendocrine system3. Research has explored its influence on melatonin secretion3 and telomerase activity in in-vitro and animal models2.
