By accessing or using the AKRO Research website (akroresearch.com) and purchasing our products, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service, our Compliance Policy, and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree to all of these terms, do not use our services.

AKRO Research reserves the right to update these Terms at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the website following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

All products sold by AKRO Research are for in-vitro research, laboratory, and educational purposes only. Products are NOT intended for human or veterinary use, food additives, drug use, household use, clinical application, diagnostic use, or cosmetic use of any kind.

AKRO Research makes full disclosure of the research-use-only nature of all products and takes all reasonable steps to remain compliant with applicable regulations. AKRO Research cannot, however, be held responsible for the actions, decisions, or conduct of purchasers, recipients, or any third parties once products have been sold and delivered. Purchasers bear sole responsibility for ensuring their use of products complies with all applicable local, state, federal, and international laws.

Certificates of Analysis (COA) for all products are available online at akroresearch.com. By purchasing, you confirm that you understand and agree to these restrictions. Please refer to our Compliance Page for full regulatory guidance, storage requirements, and amino acid sensitivity information.

Access to this website and the ability to purchase products from AKRO Research is restricted to individuals who meet all of the following criteria:

• Are 21 years of age or older
• Are a qualified research professional, accredited research institution, licensed laboratory, or acting in a documented independent research capacity
• Reside in a jurisdiction where receipt and possession of research compounds is lawful
• Intend to use all products strictly for in-vitro, non-clinical research purposes only

By placing an order, you represent and warrant that you meet all of the above qualifications. Misrepresentation of research intent or purchaser status may result in immediate order cancellation and may be reported to relevant regulatory authorities.

We strive to ensure all product descriptions, variant specifications, and purity data are accurate. However, AKRO Research does not warrant that product descriptions or content on this site are complete, reliable, current, or error-free. Product availability, variants, and pricing are subject to change without notice.

All products are stored and shipped in compliance with recommended handling guidelines. Storage temperatures are expressed in both Fahrenheit and Celsius on product pages. Buyers are responsible for maintaining proper storage conditions upon receipt.

All prices are listed in USD unless otherwise noted. Prices displayed represent the amount per unit for the selected variant and quantity.

Discount codes and promotional coupons are applied at checkout using a cascading (sequential) method: each coupon is applied to the running total after prior coupons have been applied, not to the original subtotal. Coupons assigned to a specific customer account may only be used by that account. Single-use coupons are invalidated after first redemption.

Payment is processed securely through our payment processors. AKRO Research does not store full payment card details on its servers.

AKRO Research offers a Subscribe & Save program that allows customers to receive recurring deliveries of selected products at a reduced price.

• Delivery frequencies: Every 3 weeks, every 4 weeks, or a custom schedule set by the subscriber.
• First cycle pricing: The first shipment of any subscription is charged at the full (non-discounted) price. The Subscribe & Save discount applies from the second cycle onwards and continues for the duration of the active subscription.
• Discount configuration: A global discount (fixed dollar or percentage) applies to all subscribed products. Product-specific discounts may be applied at AKRO Research's discretion and will be reflected on the product page.
• Billing: Subscriptions are billed via Easy Pay Direct using the payment method on file at the start of each cycle.
• Cancellation & pausing: Subscribers may pause or cancel their subscription at any time from their account page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle. No refunds are issued for cycles already billed.
• Gift subscriptions: The subscriber (buyer) is billed for all cycles. Each shipment is addressed to and delivered to the designated gift recipient. The recipient's address and an optional gift note are provided at subscription setup.
• Subscription discounts do not stack with other promotions or coupons unless explicitly stated at checkout.

The AKRO Rewards Program allows registered customers to earn points on qualifying purchases and redeem those points for store credit. Participation is free and automatic upon account registration.

• Earning points: Points are calculated on whole-dollar amounts, post-discount, and before taxes. Earn rates vary by tier.
• Tiers: Bronze (0 pts), Silver (500 pts), Gold (2,000 pts), Platinum (10,000 pts). Tier advancement requires meeting both point and referral thresholds within a rolling 12-month window.
• Auto-discounts: Higher tiers receive an automatic percentage discount applied at checkout.
• Referral bonuses: Customers who refer new purchasers receive a point bonus and the referred customer receives a discount on their first qualifying order.
• Redemption: Points may be redeemed for store credit at the redemption rate displayed in your account. Points have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for currency.
• Point Transfers: Registered members may transfer a portion of their redeemable points balance to other registered AKRO Research accounts via the account dashboard. Transferred points are non-reversible. AKRO Research reserves the right to suspend or limit point transfers at any time.
• Expiry: Tier meter points reset on a rolling 12-month basis. Redeemable balance points do not expire under normal program operation. However, all points, credits, and rewards are contingent on the continued operation of the AKRO Rewards Program. AKRO Research reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the program at any time, at which point any outstanding points or credits may be forfeited without compensation.
• AKRO Research reserves the right to modify tier thresholds, earn rates, redemption rates, transfer limits, and program terms at any time with reasonable notice where practicable.

The AKRO Affiliate Program enables approved affiliates to earn commissions on purchases made through their unique referral links.

• Commission: Affiliates earn a cash or store-credit commission on qualifying referred purchases. Commission rates vary by affiliate tier (Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum).
• Tax documentation: U.S.-based affiliates must submit a completed W-9 form. Non-U.S. affiliates must submit a W-8BEN form. Conversions of earned commissions to cash payouts are not processed until tax documentation is complete and verified.
• Buyer privacy: AKRO Research does not disclose buyer personally identifiable information (PII) to affiliates. Affiliates may view anonymized invoice IDs and aggregate commission data only.
• Referral links: Each affiliate receives a unique referral code and link. Abuse of referral links (self-referrals, fraudulent signups) may result in immediate program termination and forfeiture of unpaid commissions.
• AKRO Research reserves the right to approve, suspend, or terminate affiliate accounts at its sole discretion.

The AKRO Wholesale Program is available to qualifying research institutions, laboratories, and bulk purchasers.

• Wholesale tier discounts apply automatically at checkout once your account has been approved and the tier threshold is met.
• Wholesale accounts may also participate in the referral sub-program, earning points for referring other qualifying wholesale buyers.
• Wholesale pricing does not apply to products already marked as on sale or subject to active promotional pricing.
• Wholesale status is subject to periodic review. AKRO Research reserves the right to adjust tier thresholds and discount structures at any time.

AKRO Research ships to customers in the United States, Canada, and select international destinations. Buyers are responsible for ensuring that the import, receipt, and possession of ordered products comply with all laws in their jurisdiction.

• Estimated delivery timeframes are provided at checkout but are not guaranteed.
• International orders may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, and delays. These costs are the sole responsibility of the buyer.
• AKRO Research is not responsible for packages seized, delayed, or refused by customs authorities.

All sales are final. Due to the nature of research-use-only biochemical compounds, AKRO Research does not accept returns or issue refunds based on buyer preference, change of mind, or misuse of products.

Shipping issue claims are accepted only under the following circumstances:

• Return to Sender — Package was undeliverable and returned to AKRO Research through no fault of the buyer.
• Transit Damage — Product arrived physically damaged (e.g. broken vial). Photo evidence is required.
• Wrong Item Shipped — A fulfillment error resulted in the buyer receiving an incorrect product.

Where a valid claim is approved, AKRO Research will make every effort to resolve the issue. Resolution may take the form of a store credit, re-shipment of the correct item, or — at AKRO Research's sole discretion — a refund. AKRO Research reserves the right to determine the appropriate resolution in each case.

Claims must be submitted within 48 hours of the confirmed delivery date with photographic evidence and the order number. Claims submitted after this window will not be accepted.

Sales tax is calculated at checkout based on the delivery address and applicable jurisdiction rates. Tax rates are determined by a third-party API and are provided for informational purposes. AKRO Research is not responsible for errors in tax rate calculations resulting from outdated or unavailable jurisdiction data.

International orders are invoiced exclusive of destination-country taxes, duties, and import fees. These charges are the buyer's sole responsibility.

Account features — including saved addresses, order history, rewards balances, and subscription preferences — require a registered account or a browser-session identifier. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

AKRO Research collects only the data necessary to process orders and provide account features. Customer PII is never disclosed to affiliates or third parties for marketing purposes without explicit consent. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.

AKRO Research shall not be liable for any damages arising from the use or inability to use our products, including but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Use of products is at the purchaser's own risk.

AKRO Research makes no representations or warranties regarding the fitness, safety, or suitability of any product for any particular purpose, including research applications. All products are sold strictly as research reference materials.

AKRO Research is not responsible for, and expressly disclaims all liability arising from, the actions, decisions, or conduct of any purchaser, end user, third party, or outside actor in connection with the purchase, possession, handling, or use of any product sold by AKRO Research. AKRO Research operates in good faith and in compliance with applicable regulations governing the sale of research-use-only compounds. Compliance with those regulations beyond the point of sale is the sole responsibility of the purchaser.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which AKRO Research is incorporated, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that jurisdiction.
